Greetings,
My name is Edwin Bayingana and I am currently based in Kigali, Rwanda. (Nice to meet you 🙂👋🏽)

I (officially) stepped into software engineering in 2022, after years of carrying ideas I didn't yet have the skills to build. I started with the basics on FreeCodeCamp, then levelled up my skills through the training program at Andela, where syntax became a playground, and every function a brushstroke in a bigger picture.

Today, I'm a Web and Mobile Engineer who cares about interfaces with character... systems that move, respond, and carry a hint of emotion. My most recent milestone came at Sinc, where I refined the performance, stability, and feel of the app... the invisible details that quietly impact thousands of users 🚀.

Beyond my day-to-day work, I'm exploring Motion Design and Machine Learning... pieces of a bigger vision to bring fresh, modern tools to Rwanda's industries. And when the laptop closes, I'm usually wrestling guitar strings 🎸, swimming laps 🏊🏼‍♂️, or nurturing my faith in Christ 🧎🏽‍♂️.
